Between the bastions of St. Nicolas and St. Paul there is a
small church dedicated to St. Theodore the "Trihinas". It is a typical
single-chamber domed church.
The commander of the Russian forces, Theodore de
Chiostack, first opened it to the public on March 21, 1899.
It is not clarified if the church as it is
today is a reconstruction of an older Venetian church. However, there is no
indication that there was a Venetian church on this location in Venetian
documents.
