Between the peaks of St. Sozontos and St. Ioustinis, there is the complex of the fortress storage rooms. It is the main storage room complex of Fortezza, associated with the garrison areas located on the north gate.
According to Venetian documents, the construction of the complex started in 1584, for the storage of food (wine, vinegar, oil, cheese, wheat and honey).
The location of the complex on the north wall is strategic, considering the importance of a good supply and storage system in a fortress, in case of invasion.
